An Oyo State High Court in Ogbomoso has issued a restraining order against the Soun of Ogbomoso and his kingmakers, preventing them from removing the Chief Imam, Sheikh Teliat Yunus Ayilara. The conflict, brought forth by the Ogbomoso Muslim Youths Forum, led to a court suit aiming to protect the cleric's role. The ruling halts any interference until a further hearing scheduled for July 2024.
