July 10, 2018

To really get a feel for Cape Town, at a leisurely pace, you will want to hop on the Atlantic Rail round trip. Using a Class 24 steam locomotive, this six hour trip will show you the many beautiful nooks and crannies of the False Bay coast. You leave from Cape Town and travel through the Southern Suburbs to Muizenburg. From there you head to False Bay, through the bohemian villages of St James and Kalk Bay, then sweeping by Fish Hoek and Glencairn and finally coming to an end in Simon’s Town. At this point you can disembark and take a stroll, visit a cafe or the shops, explore the old naval fort town. It’s an amazing experience, well worth it.
