What started as an elaborate experiment in a garage with equipment cobbled together out of repurposed kitchen appliances has turned into an organic chocolate success story right here on the Boland.
DV (De Villiers) Chocolate only uses organically farmed cocoa from Uganda and specializes in small-batch, high-quality delicacies, with huge attention to detail.
They truly showcase the “bean-to-bar” mentality of chocolate production, being in control of all the critical processes from bean selection to roasting, grinding, refining and conching.
The chocolate tour is brilliant, you get to have small samples of some of their amazing flavours, ones that stood out were, chai milk, cinnamon blonde, coffee and cardamom and peppermint & macadamia.
